Wireless Signals (G and N)?
if i have the wireless surfboard motorola modem which uses the wireless g thingo. can i plug a wireless n router into it and make everything connect to the router instead of the modem and will this make the connection better.
will it do that and have an effect?? like everything i use is wireless and sometimes my xbox cuts out so will this make it a bit more reliable

so does that mean it will be better like if i do this. will the N router put out a G signal that its receiving or will it make the signal better and put out a N signal??
If you put the Motorola modem into bridge mode, then you can use the modem just as a modem and connect an N router to it. Check the documentation or look online for instructions for your particular modem.
To see any improvements in your network, the xbox and other things that connect to your network need to have N-compatible network cards. A 5GHz N network will work best.
