The company caters to the surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding markets, born out of the founders own experiences with these sports. In April 2005, the Company changed its name to Volcom, Inc. On June 29, 2005, Volcom Inc. made an initial public offering on NASDAQ, pricing 4.69 million shares at 19 a share and raising 89 million. The underwriters of the IPO were Wachovia Securities, D.A. Davidson and Piper Jaffray. Volcom is known for its elaborate uses of the stone logo pictured on the right and its contradictive motto Youth Against Establishment. The entire album is available in mp3 format for free download from the Havalina website. Havalina Rail Co. or just Havalina was an eclectic rock band from Long Beach, California. Many of Havalinas releases were regional concept albums. According to the bands website, the bands name was inspired by the song Havalina by The Pixies. Havalina was active from 1992 through 2005. Havalina played their last show on March 17, 2005 at The Gypsy Lounge. Former members of Havalina are now involved in Matt Death and the New Intellectuals and Os and the Oculist. Havalina Rail Co. released this selftitled album through the independent label Tooth and Nail Records in 1994. The album contains 19 tracks. In an interview for KPSU, Wignall commented that the first album was this sort of finding our path and gravitating towards American sounds.
