Can you change your surfboard traction pad?

I recently bought a surfboard but i wanted to replace the traction pad with one that i bought. Will a surf shop do this or is it something I can do myself?

Just requires abit of hard work. Leave it in the sun for abit to let the glue soften then pull it off or use a knife to. Clean the surface with mineral turps or something, sand it alittle, clean it again and stick your new pad on

Surf store can probably do it but might cost you.
