Poison Spyder Steering Box Skid Plate

The Poison Spyder Steering Box Skid fully protects one of your Jeep's most vulnerable and vital components. The skid is CNC laser cut from 3/16 high pressure steel plate, then precision brake-formed and professionally MIG welded. This rugged skid plate is able to withstand punishing impacts. The Steering Box Skid comes powder coated satin black for great looks and corrosion resistance. The kit comes complete with all additional mounting hardware (some OEM hardware is re-used). Poison Spyder Customs warranties all of the products we sell and distribute for one (1) year from the date of sale. These products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal installation, and use. Due to the intended use of the product, the powder coat finish is warranted for ninety (90) days. The finish warranty will not cover a product if it has been damaged in any way. Warranty is limited to repair or replacement. Poison Spyder Customs does not offer any type of labor or shipping allowance and all warranty claims are subject to inspection by Poison Spyder Customs.

Poison Spyder Richochet Rockers for Jeeps

Ricochet Rockers have a distinguishing 5 dimpled plate that acts as a step and a stout reinforcement for the slider. This makes the Ricochet Rocker protection a very effective armor addition and an effective pivot for getting into your rock chariot. Jeep TJ,YJ and CJ7 have three dimples, Unlimited and CJ8 have four. With the dimple protrusions pointing upward, they give the extra benefit of increased foot traction when entering or exiting the vehicle, even with boots covered with snow or mud. Ricochet Rockers are further reinforced with additional bracing below the dimpled step. The dual tube support and slider bar is constructed of 1.5 DOM tubing, the step and corner gussets are CNC laser cut from 3/16 steel plate, and brake-formed to act as their own gusset for strength and a clean appearance. Everything is professionally welded and comes to you ready to paint and bolt on. For installations in which you would like to protect the paint underneath the Ricochet Rocker, as well as provide a measure of vibration absorption, we offer an optional Rubber Liner, precisely cut to fit between the Rocker Knocker and the Jeep's body. Be sure to order these separately, as they're not included in the standard Ricochet Rocker package. For Do-It-Yourselfers, we offer the Rico Step components by themselves in kit form. With the DIY Rico Step Kit you can add a rugged, DOM tube slider to your home-built or other manufacturer's rocker protectors. The kit includes the slider tubes as well as the short tube supports to brace the center of the tube against the rocker, to do both sides of the Jeep. We do not recommend welding them to the stock sheetmetal or to steel thinner than 1/8, with 3/16 being the ideal plate thickness to weld them to.
