Chances of becoming a Roxy girl?

soo i live in hawaii and i can surf.. what do you think my possibilities of becoming a roxy girl are? Good, or should I not even try?

Hard to tell from those pictures really, you look beautiful and in shape and young enough. It would help to have just a plain full body shot. Modeling golden years are 18-22 or some ridiculous window like that. So if you are really serious about modeling especially for a big name company like roxy I would get moving. You arent going to start out right away modeling for them. I dont know 100% how it works but I am a photographer so I have friends who shoot models. Basically you need a portfolio first. Get a photographer to do a shoot with you in a variety of places, poses, outfits. I would probably give them to some local businesses first to see if you can do some small scale modeling for Swimsuits and such. You need to get comfortable in front of the camera and get used to how things work. You look like you photograph really well which is good of course and from the second picture it seems like you have the look, though again hard to tell from just those two pictures. For the love of photography though, please, please get yourself a good photographer. There are so so so many bad ones out there especially in the "modelling" business who think because they have a nice camera they can do portraiture and model photography. I have seen work from "professionals" that is absolutely horrendous. A friend of mine recently did some modeling and showed me the pictures (I had to try really hard not to tell her they were awful, she is attractive but the photog really ruined her images). So i offered to do a shoot with her so she can actually get some good images and will hopefully be able to pick better photographers in the future lol. Anyway good luck and Ill look for you in future surf mags! Also build some rep, join sites like model mayhem etc. I dont know where in Hawaii you live but would think it is possible there be some sort of modeling agency on one of the islands. It would be really good for you to go talk with them and see what it would take to get to where you want to go. If not LA is a quick hop East for you and there will definitely be some there.
