A time when you are "too old" for skateboarding?

I have seen a lot of guys who skateboard in their 30's and 40's ripped on by younger skaters telling them to "go away old man!" and other things like that. Kinda reminds of stories when my uncle was long board surfing back in the 70's. Now, older guys surfing is no big deal. What you think?

As long as you can get up on a board you are not too old. You may not be able to ollie a 12 stair when you get older, but there's always vert, pools and even just cruising around on a longboard. I'm in my mid 30s an I skate about 8 hours a day, I'm sponsored, still compete and can rip a bowl better than most kids 1/3 my age. At the parks I've been to, the older guys are looked to with respect and admiration, even the guys who can barely make it around the park.
